What is a Tranny and How do We Understand Her?

How do We Understand Her?

We live in a time when gender is fluid, and sexual orientation is foggy, which is why we should take the time to understand people around us as best as we can, and fight our own ignorance with valid information, including answering the question that is on everyone’s mind, ‘what is a tranny‘?. We’ll go into more depth of what it means to be a trans woman, and how you can actually hang out with one, date her, and make her part of your life.

The Story of Caitlyn Jenner

With so many tranny questions and answers hanging in the air, we’ll start by using the most famous tranny in the world, Caitlyn Jenner, to try and tackle as many of them as we can. Born William Bruce Jenner, Caitlyn is a television personality, author, Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete, and former patriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. In 2015, Jenner came out as a transgender woman, saying she had struggled with gender dysphoria her whole life. She crossed-dressed for many years and took hormone replacement therapy, but stopped in the early 1990s when her romance with Kris Kardashian became more serious.

When it comes to tranny love, Jenner also explained that she’s always been attracted to women, and has never felt any attraction to men, but because the general public has a hard time grasping the difference between gender identity and sexual orientation, she’d identify as asexual for the time being. In early 2017, Jenner underwent a complex sex reassignment surgery, which in her case essentially meant reshaping male genitalia into a form and function of female genitalia. It’s important to note that many trans women keep their penises despite gender dysphoria, while others opt to completely change their bodies, including sex organs.

Not only is Caitlyn Jenner the most famous trans woman in the world, she is also one of the most recognized LGBT celebrities in the world. She has done more for trans women around the world in terms of raising awareness and general acceptance than any other member of her community. She’s rich and famous, and her struggles seem to be alleviated by the fact that she’s also a member of one of the most famous families in the world. But what about all those trans women who were not as fortunate and have to live their lives in the shadows out of fear of being physically or psychologically assaulted?

The Rest of the Trans World

Those trans women have to fight for recognition on a daily basis everywhere they turn, and what they mostly face is discrimination, rejection, and in extreme cases, violence. They are not accepted by straight people, and they are not fully embraced by gay people either. Some of them are attracted to men, and others are attracted to women, meaning their sexual orientation is not uniform, and neither is their gender identity. Fully understanding them requires hanging out with them and hearing their personal stories because each and every one is different. What is crystal clear is that nobody should be forced to live their life in hiding because of gender preferences, which is why it is imperative for all of us to learn to be accepting, and understand and respect our differences as much as possible.
